Bud's 90th Birthday Party, July 28, 2007

Last weekend, Greg, Lary and I, along with our respective brides, Leda, Sue and Beverly, hosted Bud's 90th birthday party here at the farm in Palmyra. We had 35 or so friends and family show up. It was a great summer gathering. Such notable guests as Rosie Shaw, Bob and Marge Perry, the Bickfords, the Newhouses, the Wrights and the Bartlets showed up. Most of the family were here except Ashley and Ann who had to work. Kyle was in school in California. A real treat was to see Nathan, Greg and Leda's son, and Laurel and Trevor all of whom we have not seen in this part of the world for some time.

Special guest was 7 week old Colin who was passed around like a soccer ball all afternoon.

Overall it was a great party. Here are some photos taken during the great cookout hosted by Chris and his two boys, Willie and Cooper.

Having a blog seems to be the thing to do, so we either keep up or fall behind.
This is the Ball Family Blog Site. We will try to keep it up to date with family news and items of interest. Trenton just set up a blog for the Oliphant Family (Trenton, Stef, Ian and brand new Colin). Check it out at http://tlofamily.blogspot.com I have added a couple of photos but Stef and Trenton have some new ones on their site. Most of mine are from the hospital while visiting Stef.
